Measurement technology is our core competence. Lead and roughness of the counter surface are decisive for whether a sealing system holds or fails.
Drawing on the research of the Institute of Machine Components (IMA) at the University of Stuttgart, we have developed measurement methods and proprietary instruments that capture exactly these parameters precisely, reproducibly and quickly – quantitatively evaluated and visualized in meaningful 3D representations. In this way we support you in implementing effective quality assurance.
Three-dimensional capture of the shaft surface using optical measurement technology. Visualization of roughness and lead.
More on surface measurementQuantitative detection and evaluation of micro lead and macro lead on the counter surface – decisive for the sealing performance of radial shaft seals.
More on lead measurementDetermination of the radial force of radial shaft seals.
